Is the Anker 622 MagGo worth it?

At $26.39 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it is a low-cost way to add a snap-on MagSafe battery. It suits short top-ups and kickstand video more than full-day recharging.

How fast does it charge an iPhone?

Wireless charging tops out at 7.5W, slower than Apple's 15W MagSafe. Expect a gradual charge rather than a quick refill.

How many charges does 5,000 mAh give?

Roughly one partial charge for most iPhones, less after wireless losses. It is a top-up battery, not a full second battery.

Does it work with a phone case?

It needs a MagSafe-compatible magnetic case to hold securely. On a plain case the magnets are weak and the pack can slip.

Which iPhones does it fit?

iPhone 12 through iPhone 15 models, including Plus, Pro and Pro Max, with a magnetic case. Older iPhones without magnets will not attach properly.

The battery and a 23.6-inch USB-C to USB-C cable. A wall charger is not included.
