Is the PowerCore 10000 Redux worth it in 2026?

At $20.89 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, it is a cheap way to get about two phone charges. If your phone uses USB-C, a USB-C bank with Power Delivery is a better fit for a few dollars more.

How many times can it charge a phone?

The 10,000 mAh cell translates to roughly two full charges for a typical 4,000-5,000 mAh phone, less in cold weather or with heavy use.

Does it charge with USB-C?

No. The input is Micro-USB, so you recharge the bank with the included Micro-USB cable. You can still charge a USB-C phone from the USB-A port with a USB-A to USB-C cable you supply.

What comes in the box?

The power bank and a 1 ft Micro-USB cable. No AC adapter or wall charger is included.

Is it wireless charging?

No. Despite some listings mentioning wireless charging, this model charges over a wired USB-A connection only.

Prices on this model have hovered near $20 to $25. The current $20.89 at Amazon is already near the bottom of that range, so waiting is unlikely to save much.
