Our take on the AP Products 015-217719 RV Square Entrance Door - 28" x 72", Polar White

This is a complete replacement entry door for a travel trailer or fifth wheel: a 28 x 72 inch rough opening, right-hand hinge, aluminum frame in Polar White, fiberglass skin and a 12 x 21 inch obscure glass window. It ships with the frame and a color-matched screen door, so it is a full assembly rather than a door slab. The obscure glass lets light in while blocking a view into the camper. No current price was provided, so check the listing for the latest figure and how it compares with other RV door sellers.

Questions and answers

Is 28 x 72 inches the door size or the opening size?
It is the rough opening. The door itself is slightly smaller so it fits inside a 28 x 72 inch framed opening. Measure your opening, not the old door, before ordering.
Does it come with the screen door and frame?
Yes. The door ships with its aluminum frame and a screen door matched to the frame color. The 12 x 21 inch obscure glass window is built in.
Will it fit a left-hand hinge opening?
No. This unit is right-side hinge. If your old door hinges on the left, you need the opposite-hand version or the door will swing the wrong way.
What is the door made of?
An aluminum frame with a fiberglass skin and obscure glass window. That construction is common on RV entry doors and holds up to weather better than wood-core doors.
When is the best time to buy?
RV door prices move with seasonal demand, so late fall and winter tend to be cheaper than spring. Compare the current listing against other sellers before ordering.
