Is the noise cancellation as good as AirPods Pro?

No. The open design lets in more sound than the sealed AirPods Pro, so ANC mainly dulls steady background noise like engines and fans.

Do they fit people who find ear tips uncomfortable?

That is the main reason to choose them. The tip-free shape suits people who dislike silicone, but fit varies, so try them if you can.

How long does the battery last?

Expect roughly a full day of listening with the case and several hours per charge, less with ANC on. Apple's rated figures are the ones to check.

Do they work with Android phones?

They pair over Bluetooth and play audio, but Adaptive EQ, hands-free Siri and fast pairing are Apple-only features.

What comes in the box?

The earbuds, the wireless charging case and a charging cable. A power adapter is not included.

When is the best time to buy?

Apple earbuds usually drop during Black Friday, back-to-school sales and after new model launches. Compare the current price with its recent low before buying.

Our take on the Apple AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case

The AirPods 5 are Apple's open-fit true wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation, a wireless charging case, Adaptive EQ and hands-free Siri. They sit above the base AirPods and below the AirPods Pro, so they add ANC without silicone tips or a sealed fit. No price was provided for this listing, so check the current price against its recent range before buying.
