Is the AirPods 5 worth it at $129?

At $129.00 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is a reasonable price for Apple earbuds with active noise cancellation and an IP57 rating. That is also the only price recorded so far, so there is no cheaper point to wait for yet.

How long does the battery last?

Apple rates the earbuds at 4 hours of listening per charge. The USB-C case adds extra charges, but you will top up more often than with longer-lasting rivals.

Can I use them with Android?

They pair over Bluetooth and play audio, but hands-free Siri, Live Translation and the Apple Intelligence features need Apple devices. Android users lose most of the smart features.

Are they good for running and sweating?

Yes. The IP57 rating covers sweat and rain, and the in-ear fit is designed to stay put during sports. Do not submerge them or rinse them under a tap.

What comes in the box?

You get the AirPods 5, a USB-C wireless charging case and documentation. There is no USB-C cable and no power adapter, so bring your own.

When is the AirPods 5 likely to be cheapest?

Apple earbuds usually drop around Black Friday and back-to-school sales. The current $129.00 at Walmart is the lowest recorded since November 3, 2026, so watch for holiday cuts below that.
