- Is the 10th-generation iPad still worth buying?
- Yes for basic use: streaming, notes, browsing and light drawing. If you need more power or a laminated screen, an iPad Air is the better fit.
- Does it work with the Apple Pencil?
- It works with the USB-C Apple Pencil and the first-generation Apple Pencil via a USB-C adapter. It does not support the magnetic second-generation Apple Pencil.
- Do I need a data plan for the cellular model?
- Yes. The cellular version takes a nano-SIM or eSIM data plan from a carrier. Wi-Fi still works without one.
- How much storage should I get?
- 256GB is generous for apps, photos and offline video. 64GB is enough only for light streaming and browsing.
- What is in the box?
- The iPad, a USB-C charge cable and a 20W USB-C power adapter. The Apple Pencil and keyboard cases are sold separately.
- When is it cheapest?
- Entry iPads usually drop during back-to-school and Black Friday sales, and again when a newer model launches.
