Questions and answers

Is the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (6th generation) worth it in 2026?
At $638.93 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a strong value for a 12.9-inch mini-LED tablet with M2 performance. It makes the most sense if you want a large screen for drawing, editing, or watching HDR video. If you mainly browse and stream, a cheaper iPad covers the same ground.
How does it compare with the M4 iPad Pro?
The M4 model is thinner, lighter, and uses a tandem OLED display, and it supports the newer Apple Pencil Pro. The M2 version still has the same 12.9-inch size, Thunderbolt, and strong performance, and at this price it costs far less. Choose the M4 only if you need the lighter body or OLED screen.
What is the battery life like?
Apple rates it at up to 10 hours of web browsing or video on Wi-Fi, and the 40.88-Wh battery generally meets that in mixed use. Heavy editing, bright HDR playback, or 5G use will cut that noticeably.
Does it work with the Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard?
It supports the second-generation Apple Pencil and the Magic Keyboard made for the 12.9-inch Pro, both sold separately. The newer Apple Pencil Pro does not work with this model.
What is in the box?
The box includes the iPad Pro, a USB-C charge cable, and a 20W USB-C power adapter. The Pencil and keyboard are not included.
When is it cheapest?
Prices on the M2 12.9-inch Pro have fallen as newer models arrived, and the current $638.93 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026 is near the low end for a new unit. Holiday sales and clearance events are the times to watch for further drops.
Where is the Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (6th generation) cheapest?
At Walmart, for $638.93, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (6th generation)?
3 stores we checked sell it, including Walmart, eBay, Amazon.
