Is the iPhone 18 Pro Max worth it over the 18 Pro?

Only if you want the bigger 6.9-inch screen and the larger battery that comes with it. The 18 Pro has the same chip and cameras in a smaller body for less money.

Will it work with my carrier?

Yes. It is factory unlocked and takes a nano-SIM plus an eSIM, so it works with major US carriers and most international networks.

What comes in the box?

The phone and a USB-C cable. Apple no longer includes a charger or earphones, so budget for those if you need them.

How does it compare with the iPhone 17 Pro Max?

The main changes are the A20 Pro chip and the current camera and display updates. If you own a 17 Pro Max, the upgrade is modest; from an older model it is a clear step up.

iPhone prices usually hold near list for the first months and drop during Black Friday, carrier trade-in promotions and after the next model launches.
