Our take on the Apple MacBook Air 15-inch M4 32GB 2TB with AppleCare+

The MacBook Air 15-inch M4 is Apple's large-screen thin-and-light laptop, here configured with 32GB of memory and a 2TB SSD plus AppleCare+ coverage. It pairs the M4 chip with a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display, a fanless design and about 18 hours of rated battery life at 3.3 lb. This is a maxed-out configuration, so its price sits far above base 15-inch Air models and is aimed at buyers who want lots of memory and storage in a light laptop.

Best forBuyers who want a big screen without a heavy laptopMultitaskers running many apps and browser tabs at oncePhoto and video editors who want local storageAnyone who values long battery life and silent, fanless operation

Questions and answers

Is the M4 MacBook Air 15-inch worth it over the 13-inch?
If you want a larger screen for spreadsheets, editing or side-by-side windows, the 15-inch is worth the extra weight and cost. The 13-inch is easier to carry and cheaper for the same chip.
Do I need 32GB of memory?
For web browsing, office work and light photo editing, 16GB is enough. Choose 32GB if you keep many apps and large files open or do video and music production.
How long does the battery last?
Apple rates it at up to 18 hours. Real use with browsing and video typically lands shorter but still covers a full workday.
What is in the box?
The laptop, a USB-C to MagSafe 3 charging cable and a 35W dual-port power adapter. AppleCare+ coverage is included in this configuration.
Does it have a fan?
No. The MacBook Air is fanless, so it runs silent but can slow down during long sustained heavy tasks.
When is it cheapest?
Base configurations see the deepest discounts during back-to-school and holiday sales. High-memory, high-storage builds like this one rarely drop much, so compare across stores.
