Our take on the Aqua Eden 67-Inch Acrylic Rectangular Drop-In Tub with Center Drain

The Aqua Eden 67-inch tub is a rectangular acrylic drop-in bath with a center drain and built-in jets, sized for a standard alcove or a tiled surround. Acrylic keeps the weight down and holds water temperature better than cast iron, and the jetted layout adds a soaking-and-massage option at a price well below most jetted tubs. At $724.72 at DesignerHardware.com as of November 6, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, with only two stores listing it new.

Best forBathroom remodels with a drop-in tub deckBuyers who want jets without a luxury-tub priceStandard 60- to 67-inch alcove or surround layoutsSoakers who prefer a lighter tub over cast iron
Pros
  • Acrylic shell is light enough for a two-person install and easier to move than cast iron
  • Jetted design adds massage function at a price near plain soaking tubs
  • 67-inch length gives more room to stretch out than a standard 60-inch tub
  • Center drain suits symmetrical deck layouts and most rough-in positions
  • Rectangular shape fits conventional alcove framing and tiled surrounds
Cons
  • Acrylic can flex and scratch more than enameled cast iron over time
  • Jetted tubs need the pump, plumbing and access panel planned before the deck goes in
  • Drop-in install requires a custom or framed surround, adding cost
  • Jet lines need periodic cleaning to avoid buildup

Questions and answers

Is $724.72 a good price for this tub?
It is the lowest new price among the two stores listing it as of November 6, 2026, and sits at the low end of its recent range. Jetted acrylic tubs this size often list higher, so it is a fair deal if the fit works for your layout.
Does this tub include a faucet and drain?
The listing covers the tub itself. A faucet, trim and drain assembly are typically sold separately, so budget for those plus the deck or surround materials.
Will it fit a standard alcove?
At 67 inches it is longer than a standard 60-inch alcove, so measure the rough opening first. It is designed as a drop-in, meaning it sits in a framed or tiled surround rather than against three walls.
How does acrylic compare with cast iron here?
Acrylic is much lighter and warmer to the touch, which helps with installation and comfort. Cast iron resists scratches better but weighs far more and costs more to ship and set.
What maintenance do the jets need?
Flush the jet lines with a tub cleaner periodically, especially after bath oils or salts. Keeping the pump access panel reachable makes servicing easier.
