Does it really plug into a normal outlet?

Yes. It ships with a 15-amp GFCI cord for 120V plug-and-play use. You can convert it to 240V later for faster heating and stronger jets, but that requires an electrician.

How many people fit comfortably?

It is rated for six, with a lounger, captain's seats, a cool-off seat and an interior step. The 79-inch square footprint is compact for six adults, so four to five is more realistic for full comfort.

How long does it take to heat?

On 120V, expect roughly a day or more to reach temperature from cold, depending on outdoor temperature. A 240V conversion cuts heat-up time substantially.

What comes in the box?

The spa, a locking safety cover, the 15-amp GFCI cord and the ozone purification system. Delivery is residential curbside, so plan for help moving the 295 lb tub into place.

Is the DayDream 3500 worth it?

At $3,398.99 at eBay as of November 8, 2026, it is a low-cost way into a 6-person tub with no 240V wiring. Accept slower heating and fewer jets than a 240V spa at twice the price.

Hot tub prices often dip in late summer and around Black Friday. Check the price history before buying, since only two stores list it new.
