Is this 12 boxes of 1 lb or 2 lb?

The product name says 2 lb boxes, but the listed specs say 1 lb. Confirm the box weight with the seller before ordering, since the carton total depends on it.

Is it the same baking soda as the grocery store box?

Yes. It is pure sodium bicarbonate, the same product in a larger carton format.

Can I use it for cleaning as well as baking?

Yes. It works as a mild abrasive for sinks and surfaces and as a deodorizer for fridges, drains and laundry.

How should I store it?

Keep boxes sealed in a dry place. Moisture makes the powder clump, so transfer an opened box to an airtight container.

Is it kosher and allergen-free?

The listing states it is kosher and contains no allergens or harsh chemicals.

When is the best time to buy the carton?

Bulk cartons usually cost less per box than singles, so compare the per-box price against single boxes before buying.

Our take on the Arm & Hammer Baking Soda 2 lb Box, 12/Carton

Arm & Hammer Baking Soda is pure sodium bicarbonate in a shelf-stable powder, sold here as a 12-box carton. It is the standard pantry and household workhorse: leavening for baking, a mild abrasive for cleaning, and a deodorizer for fridges, drains and laundry. The listing's specs are inconsistent on size (the title says 2 lb boxes, the specs say 1 lb), so confirm the box weight before ordering. No price was provided, so its standing against recent pricing cannot be stated.
