Questions and answers

Is the Ashley Breckington dining set worth $1,349.99?
It is a solid wood set with four chairs and an extendable table, which is reasonable at that price. Compare it with other solid wood five-piece sets before deciding, since only two stores list it new.
How many people does it seat?
It seats four with the four included chairs. With the removable center leaf in, the table extends to seat up to eight, but you need to supply the extra chairs.
Does the table have a leaf?
Yes. The table has a removable center leaf that extends it for larger gatherings. Store the leaf flat when not in use.
Is assembly required?
Yes. The table and chairs ship unassembled. Plan for a couple of hours and two people for the table.
What is the table top made of?
The top is oak veneer over a wood core, not solid oak. Use coasters and trivets to protect the finish.
When is it cheapest?
Dining sets often drop during holiday sales and clearance events. Check the price history on this page before buying.
