Is the Ashley M9X732 worth it?

At $499.99 it is a low-cost way to get independent head and foot motors, app control and USB ports. If you want massage or preset positions, you will pay more for a base that has them.

Does it work with any queen mattress?

It is built for a standard queen mattress and works with most foam and hybrid mattresses. Very stiff innerspring mattresses may not flex well at the hinge points.

Do I need to buy a headboard separately?

The base does not include a headboard, and the brackets to attach one are sold separately. Check the bracket kit for your headboard before ordering.

Can I control it without the remote?

Yes. It is app compatible, so you can adjust the head and foot from a phone. The wireless backlit remote is included in the box.

What is the warranty?

Ashley covers the base with a 3-year non-prorated warranty. That means no deductible during the three years, but check what the warranty covers for motors versus frame.

The only new price listed is $499.99 at Sacramento Furniture Store as of November 4, 2026. Adjustable bases often drop during holiday mattress sales, so watch for those windows.
