Is the GT-2000 12 good for overpronation?

Yes. It is a light stability shoe with a medial support post, aimed at mild to moderate overpronation. Severe overpronators may want a firmer control shoe.

How does it compare with the GT-2000 11?

The 12 keeps the 8 mm drop and stability setup but uses a revised mesh upper and a slightly softer midsole. Runners coming from the 11 get a similar fit with a smoother ride.

What is the drop and weight?

The drop is 8 mm. ASICS lists the men's shoe at roughly 10.3 oz in a US 9, which is typical for a stability trainer.

Does it fit true to size?

Most owners say yes and order their usual running shoe size. The width is normal, so wide-footed runners should look at the 2E version.

When is the GT-2000 12 cheapest?

Prices tend to drop when the next GT-2000 generation launches and during seasonal sales. The best new price was $118.92 at eBay as of November 7, 2026.
