Is the RTX 5060 enough for modern games at this resolution?

At 2880 x 1800 the RTX 5060 will need upscaling or reduced settings in demanding titles. At 1080p or 1200p it handles most games comfortably, and the 120Hz OLED rewards higher frame rates.

Is 16GB of RAM enough?

It is fine for gaming and everyday use. Heavy video editing, many browser tabs plus a game, or large 3D scenes will push it, and the listed spec shows no second slot.

How does it compare to the previous G14?

The 2025 model moves to the Ryzen 9 270 and RTX 5060 in the same thin aluminum body, with a 3K 120Hz OLED and louder woofers. It is an evolution of the formula rather than a redesign.

Is the OLED screen good for gaming?

Yes. It is 2880 x 1800 at 120Hz with a 0.2ms response time and Dolby Vision HDR, so motion is smooth and contrast is deep. Static HUD elements are the main long-term concern with OLED.

What comes in the box?

The laptop with Windows 11 Home preinstalled, plus its power adapter. RAM and storage are as listed: 16GB and a 1TB SSD.

The best new price is $1,979.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026. Gaming laptops usually drop during back-to-school and holiday sales, so watch the price history before buying.

The 2025 ROG Zephyrus G14 is a 14-inch gaming laptop in a 0.63-inch, 3.31 lb aluminum chassis. Its best new price is $1,979.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, with 6 stores listing it new. That is a premium ask for an RTX 5060 laptop, so compare it against other G14 trims before buying.
