Questions and answers

Is the Atomi dual head flood light worth it?
It makes sense if you want app and voice control plus color lighting in one outdoor fixture. If you only need bright white motion light, a plain floodlight usually costs less.
Does it need a hub or just Wi-Fi?
It connects over Wi-Fi and works with Alexa and Google Assistant, so no separate hub is required. You do need a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal that reaches the mounting location.
How much area does the motion sensor cover?
The motion detection is rated at 180 degrees, which covers a wide approach to a wall or corner. Detection range in feet is not stated in the specs.
Can I set it to only come on at night or only on motion?
Smart floodlights in this class usually support schedules and motion-triggered rules in the app. Check the Atomi app options before buying if you need specific automation.
What is in the box?
Expect the floodlight fixture and mounting hardware. The exact box contents are not listed, so confirm with the store before ordering.
When is the price lowest?
Outdoor security lights often drop around spring home-improvement sales and Black Friday. Compare stores and check the price history before buying.
