Is the AULA HERO 84 HE worth it?

For gamers who want magnetic switches and rapid trigger without spending much, yes. It is a strong value if you play on Windows and do not need wireless.

How is it different from a standard mechanical keyboard?

Its Hall-effect switches measure key travel magnetically, so you can set how far a key must travel to register and reset. Standard mechanical switches have a fixed actuation point.

Does it work with a Mac?

Compatibility is listed as Windows only, and it is also listed for tablets. Mac support is not stated, so treat it as a Windows-first keyboard.

The listing does not detail box contents. Expect the keyboard and a USB cable, but confirm with the store before ordering.

Does it have a numpad?

No. It has 84 keys in a 75% layout, so there is no dedicated number pad, though arrow keys are included.

Magnetic-switch keyboards usually drop during sales events and back-to-school periods. Check the price history on this page and buy when it sits near its recent low.
