Is the Avocado Eco Organic Mattress Topper worth it?

It suits shoppers who want organic materials and a plusher feel without buying a new mattress. If your mattress is sagging or worn out, a topper will not repair it.

How thick is it, and will my sheets still fit?

It is 10 inches thick, which is much thicker than a typical pad. Expect to need deep-pocket sheets and a higher bed height.

Avocado builds it from organic latex and wool with organic certification. The materials are chosen for breathability and low chemical content.

Is it hard to move or rotate?

Yes. It weighs 94 lbs in Queen and up to 110 lbs in King, so rotating it takes two people.

Latex and wool are breathable and generally sleep cooler than memory foam. The thickness still adds insulation, so hot sleepers should pair it with breathable bedding.

Which size should I order?

Match it to your mattress size: Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King or California King. California King is 84 by 72 inches, longer and narrower than a King.

Our take on the Avocado Eco Organic Mattress Topper

The Avocado Eco Organic Mattress Topper is a 10-inch organic latex and wool topper that adds a plush, breathable layer over an existing mattress. It is GOTS-certified organic and carries Avocado's eco-focused build, with weights from 62 lbs (Twin) to 110 lbs (King). It is a substantial piece rather than a thin pad, so it changes the feel and height of the bed.
