Is the Pac-Man Plug & Play TV Game worth it?

It is worth it if you want a simple, no-setup way to play Pac-Man on a TV with AV inputs. At $135.42 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it costs more than many plug-and-play units, so compare with other Pac-Man TV games before buying.

Does it work on a modern TV?

It outputs through composite AV cables, so it needs a TV or adapter with yellow/white video and audio inputs. Most newer TVs have dropped those ports, so check before buying.

What games are included?

The unit is built around Pac-Man titles, with the games stored on the device itself. Exact game count varies by release, so confirm the list on the product page before ordering.

Is it battery powered or does it need a cord?

It runs off batteries for portable play and can also be powered through a TV connection. Keep spare batteries on hand for longer sessions.

When is the price lowest?

With only one store listing it new, discounts are rare. Watch for holiday sales and check the price history before buying at $135.42.

Our take on the Bandai Namco Pac-Man Plug & Play TV Game

The Bandai Namco Pac-Man Plug & Play TV Game is a self-contained joystick that plugs straight into a TV's AV inputs, with the games built in and no console or discs needed. It is a small, handheld-friendly unit about 3.75 inches wide, aimed at retro players and kids rather than serious arcade collectors. The best new price is $135.42 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition to shop around.
