Questions and answers

Is 25 lb too heavy for one person?
For most single adults, yes. A common guideline is about 10% of body weight, so 25 lb suits someone around 250 lb or two adults sharing. Lighter sleepers usually prefer 15 to 20 lb.
Will it fit a king bed?
Yes. It is sized for a king mattress, so it drapes over the sides rather than hanging short like a throw.
Can I machine wash it?
Yes, it is machine washable. Use a large-capacity or commercial machine, since a 25 lb king blanket can overload a standard home washer, and tumble dry low.
Which side is cooler?
The cotton reverse. The minky fleece side traps more heat, so flip it cotton-up in warmer months.
Is $107.99 a good price?
It is the lowest new price among the four stores listed as of November 7, 2026, so it is a fair entry point for a 25 lb king blanket. Compare against the other stores before buying if you want the cotton or fleece finish in a different size.
Is it safe for children?
No. Weighted blankets are not recommended for young children or anyone who cannot remove one unaided.
