Our take on the Bassett Furniture Ellington Roll Arm Sofa in Gray

The Bassett Ellington is an 88-inch roll-arm sofa with a pillow back and removable cushions, upholstered in gray fabric. It is a traditional, roomy three-seater built for living rooms that want a softer, classic look. Bassett sells it through its own stores and dealers, so pricing varies by retailer and fabric grade. Check the current price against recent listings before buying, since gray fabric sofas like this often see seasonal markdowns.

Questions and answers

Is the Bassett Ellington sofa worth the price?
It is a solid choice if you want a US-made sofa with a classic roll-arm look and removable cushions. Compare the current price with other Bassett dealers, since pricing varies by retailer and fabric grade.
How long is the sofa, and will it fit my room?
It is 88 inches long, so plan for about 7 feet 4 inches of wall space plus clearance. Measure doorways and hallways before delivery, since roll arms add width.
Are the cushions removable and washable?
The seat and back cushions are removable, which makes rotating and spot cleaning easier. The covers are not typically machine washable, so check the fabric care code for your chosen upholstery.
What fabric and color options are available?
This version is gray fabric, and Bassett offers other fabrics and colors through its custom-order program. Availability depends on the dealer.
When is the best time to buy?
Bassett and its dealers run sales around major holidays and at the end of fabric promotions. Watch the price history for a drop below the recent range before ordering.
