Are these good for driving?

Yes. The polarized lens reduces glare from the road, dashboard and wet surfaces, which is the main reason to pick them. The clip-on design also lets prescription wearers keep their correction while driving.

Do they fit over my regular glasses?

They are built as a fit-over clip-on, so the magnetic front attaches to the frame rather than sitting on your nose. Check the 56 mm lens width against your current frames, since wide lenses suit larger faces.

The listing counts four items, which points to the frame plus clip-on lenses rather than a single pair. Confirm the exact contents with the seller before ordering if you need a case or spare lenses.

Is $39.59 a good price?

It is the best new price across the two stores that list it as of November 5, 2026, so it is the low end of what is available right now. There is no long price history to compare against, so treat it as a fair mid-range price for a polarized clip-on set.

Can I use them at night?

The tinted polarized lens is made for daylight and is not a night-driving lens. Use the frame without the clip-on at night, and keep the tinted front for sun.

Our take on the Bauhaus Magnetic Clip on Sunglasses

Bauhaus Magnetic Clip-On Sunglasses are a metal square-frame pair with a polarized resin lens and a magnetic clip-on front, so you can wear them as optical frames or snap on the tinted layer. The set includes four pieces, and the lenses carry UV400 protection and a scratch-resistant coating. They are aimed at driving and fishing, with a retro square shape. The best new price is $39.59 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, and two stores list it new.
