- Do I need a box spring with the Granger platform bed?
- No. It is a platform bed, so the mattress rests on the frame's slats. A box spring would only add height.
- What mattress size fits it?
- A standard queen mattress, 60 by 80 inches. The frame is sized for queen only.
- Is the velvet easy to clean?
- Velvet needs gentle care. Vacuum it with a soft brush and blot spills quickly; it is not a good match for heavy pet use.
- Is $395 a good price?
- It is the best new price among the three stores listing it as of November 7, 2026, and sits at the low end of its recent range. Waiting is unlikely to save much.
- Does it come with the headboard?
- Yes, the upholstered headboard is part of the bed. Check the box contents at checkout for slats and hardware.
- How hard is assembly?
- Expect a two-person job. The frame and headboard are bulky, and you will need to attach the slats and legs.
