Questions and answers

Is the Bear Electric BBQ Grill worth it?
At $59.99 at Amazon as of November 3, it is a low-cost way to grill indoors for one or two people. It will not match a gas or charcoal grill for searing or capacity.
How big is the cooking area?
The unit measures 13 x 17 x 8.6 inches overall, so the usable grill surface is smaller than the footprint suggests. Plan on cooking for one or two people at a time.
Does it smoke up the kitchen?
Any indoor grill produces some smoke and grease spatter. Use it near a vent hood or open window, and expect more smoke from fatty cuts.
What comes in the box?
Typical Bear electric grill packages include the grill unit, a nonstick cooking plate and a drip tray. Check the listing for included accessories before buying.
When is it cheapest?
The current $59.99 at Amazon as of November 3 is already near the low end of its recent range. Deeper discounts tend to appear around major sales events.
Can I use metal utensils on it?
No. Use silicone, wood or plastic tools to avoid scratching the nonstick coating.
