Our take on the Beats Pill (2024)

The 2024 Beats Pill is a portable Bluetooth speaker with a racetrack woofer and tweeter per side, a two-way crossover, and up to 69W of peak output. It is IP67 dust and water resistant, charges over USB-C, and can pair with a second Pill for stereo or with Apple and Android devices. At $59 at Walmart as of November 6, 2026, it sits well below its usual street price, making it one of the cheaper ways into a name-brand portable speaker.

Best foriPhone and Android owners who want a small, loud travel speakerPool, beach and shower use thanks to IP67Pairing two units for stereo or party modeBuyers who want Beats sound on a tight budget

  • Works with both Apple and Android, including Find My and Google Fast Pair
  • At $59, priced far below most name-brand portable speakers

  • No Wi-Fi, no AirPlay or Chromecast, Bluetooth only
  • No aux input; wired audio needs USB-C
  • Battery life is good but not class-leading for the size
  • At higher volumes, distortion and compression set in
