Our take on the Bedsure Cozy Orthopedic Dog Bed for Medium Dogs

The Bedsure Cozy Orthopedic Dog Bed is a sofa-style sleeper for large dogs, filled with shredded foam and topped in fleece and sherpa fleece. The cover is waterproof and removable for machine washing, and the base has a non-slip bottom. The X-Large Plus measures 48 by 35 inches. At $24.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of what this bed has sold for recently, well under the $40 to $60 it often lists at.

Pros
  • Shredded foam base gives cushioning for joints
  • Waterproof cover wipes clean and comes off for the machine
  • Non-slip bottom holds on hardwood and tile
  • Sofa bolsters give head and neck support
  • Low price for an orthopedic-style bed this size
  • Four neutral colors: navy, beige, brown, grey
Cons
  • Shredded foam can clump and shift over time
  • Not fireproof and not chew-proof
  • Sizing runs to large breeds; smaller dogs will swim in it
  • Waterproof liner sits under the fleece, so spills can wick at seams

Questions and answers

Is $24.99 a good price for this bed?
Yes. At $24.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it is near the bottom of its recent range, which has run roughly $40 to $60 at other stores. Only two stores price it new, so stock at that price may not last.
Will it fit a large dog?
The X-Large Plus is 48 by 35 inches, which suits most large breeds and gives a Labrador room to stretch out. Measure your dog nose to tail before ordering, since the bolster takes up some of the surface.
Can the cover really be machine washed?
Yes. The cover zips off and is machine washable; the foam insert is not. Wash cold and air-dry or tumble low to keep the fleece from pilling.
Is it good for an arthritic older dog?
It is a reasonable budget pick. The shredded foam cushions pressure points and the bolsters give support, but it is softer than a solid memory-foam orthopedic bed, so a very heavy dog may bottom out.
How does it compare with a memory foam bed?
It costs far less but uses shredded foam, which shifts and flattens sooner than a solid memory-foam core. Expect to replace it sooner; for a dog with severe joint issues, a firmer foam bed is the safer choice.
What comes in the box?
The bed arrives vacuum-compressed with the cover on. Let it sit for a day or two to fully expand, and fluff the foam by hand before first use.
Where is the Bedsure Cozy Orthopedic Dog Bed for Medium Dogs cheapest?
