How often do I replace the cartridge?

About every 6 months, or every 12,000 gallons, whichever comes first. Replacement cartridges are sold separately.

Will it fit my shower arm?

It threads onto a standard 1/2-inch shower arm and installs in 3 to 5 minutes without tools. Check your arm size before buying.

Does it reduce water pressure?

The rated flow is 2.5 GPM, the standard showerhead limit, so most showers see little change.

Is it worth it over a cheaper plastic filter?

The brass body and 12,000-gallon cartridge life are the main reasons to pay more. A plastic filter costs less up front but often needs cartridges more often.

The filter housing with the cartridge installed. No showerhead or diverter is included.
