Is the Bernhardt Dawkins a good sofa for everyday family use?

It is a large leather three-seater with down and feather cushions, so it is comfortable but needs fluffing and care. Leather wipes clean, which helps with kids and pets.

How big a room does the Dawkins need?

It measures 94 inches wide, 40.5 inches deep and 34 inches high. Plan for at least a few feet of clearance in front of it in a large living room.

What is the seat like?

The seat is 28 inches deep and 18 inches high, filled with down, feathers, fiber and polyester. That makes it a deep, soft seat rather than a firm one.

Is $4,619 a good price for this sofa?

It is the best new price among the two stores listing it as of November 7, 2026. With so few sellers, check both listings before buying.

Does it come with throw pillows or is it just the sofa?

The listing is for one sofa. Confirm with the store whether any accent pillows are included before ordering.

How do I care for the leather and down cushions?

Dust and wipe the leather with a damp cloth and keep it out of direct sun. Fluff and rotate the down-and-feather cushions regularly to keep their shape.
