Is the Bernhardt Cooper bed worth $4,059?

It is a premium upholstered storage bed, so you are paying for the shelter silhouette, wing headboard and integrated storage. If you need a statement king bed and lack closet space, the combination justifies more of the price than a plain frame would.

How much storage does it have?

The listing confirms storage but does not specify capacity or access type. Ask the seller for the storage dimensions and whether it opens from the side or foot before buying.

What size mattress does it take?

It is a king bed, so it takes a standard king mattress, typically 76 by 80 inches. Check the interior dimensions with the seller, since upholstered frames can run tight.

Does it need a box spring?

It uses three wooden slats, which suggests a mattress can rest on the slat platform. Confirm with the seller whether a box spring is required or recommended for your mattress type.

When is the best time to buy it?

With only one new listing at $4,059 as of November 7, 2026, there is no discount history to time. Watch for seasonal furniture sales or ask the seller about floor-model or clearance options.
