- Is $49.90 a good price for this tree?
- Yes. That is the lowest of the 9 stores listing it new as of November 7, 2026, and it is cheap for a 7.5 ft pre-lit tree. Expect prices to climb as December gets closer.
- How wide is a pencil tree compared with a regular one?
- A pencil tree is roughly half the width of a full tree of the same height, which is why it suits hallways and corners. Check the listed base diameter before buying if floor space is tight.
- Can I use it outdoors?
- No. It is an indoor tree with standard white lights and no weather sealing. Keep it out of rain and direct sun.
- Are the lights replaceable?
- The 350 white lights are pre-strung and wired into the tree, so a failed strand usually means rewiring or adding a separate string. Spare bulbs are the practical fix for single dead bulbs.
- What is in the box?
- The tree sections, the pre-attached light strings and a stand. Ornaments and a tree skirt are not included.
- When is it cheapest?
- Pre-lit trees usually bottom out in early November and again right after Christmas. This listing at $49.90 is already near the low end.
