Is the BestOffice sensor can worth it?

At $47.49 at eBay as of November 6, 2026, it is one of the cheapest 13-gallon sensor cans. It is a fair buy if you want hands-free opening on a budget and accept that the sensor and lid may not last for years.

What bags does it use?

It takes standard 13-gallon kitchen bags. No proprietary liners are needed, which keeps running costs low.

Does it need batteries or a plug?

It runs on batteries, so keep spares on hand. A dead battery means the lid will not open automatically.

It measures 23 inches tall, 12.6 inches wide and 17 inches deep, with a 50-liter (13-gallon) single compartment. Check the depth against your cabinet gap before buying.

Does it have a recycling side?

No. It is a single-compartment can for general waste only.

The current $47.49 at eBay as of November 6, 2026 is at the low end of its recent range. Sensor cans often drop around major sales, so compare the three stores before buying.
