Questions and answers

Is the Bestoffice 5-tier shelving unit worth it?
For budget garage or pantry storage, yes. It carries up to 250 lb per shelf and costs $45.47 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, well below most comparable 5-tier racks.
How much weight can each shelf hold?
250 lb per shelf, with 1,250 lb total for the unit when the load is spread evenly. Keep the heaviest items on the lower shelves.
Do the shelves adjust?
Yes. Each shelf moves to different heights along the posts, so you can fit tall bins or bottles. Plan the layout before loading it.
What are the dimensions?
36 inches wide, 14 inches deep and 72 inches tall. Check that 14-inch depth fits your space, since it is shallower than many garage racks.
Does it come with wheels?
No. It is freestanding with leveling feet, not casters. Moving it after loading means unloading it first.
When is it cheapest?
Wire shelving prices dip during garage-organization and back-to-school sales. The current $45.47 at eBay as of November 4, 2026 is already near the low end of its range.
