Our take on the Betsy Ann American Truffle Chocolates Gift Set, 4-Piece

A four-piece box of Betsy Ann milk chocolate truffles and bonbons, 4.5 ounces total. It is a small, low-commitment gift box rather than a sampler, so it suits a host, a coworker or a stocking filler. No current price was provided, so check the live comparison before buying.

  • Milk chocolate base suits most palates
  • Compact box travels well
  • Small size fits gift bags and stockings
Cons
  • Only 4.5 ounces, so it is a token gift, not a centerpiece

Questions and answers

Is the Betsy Ann 4-piece set worth it?
It depends on the price you find. At a few dollars it is a reasonable small gift; much above that, a larger box gives more chocolate per dollar.
How many chocolates are in the box?
Four truffles or bonbons, 4.5 ounces total, so roughly an ounce per piece.
Are these dark or milk chocolate?
Milk chocolate. The set is listed as milk chocolate truffles and bonbons, with no dark option in this box.
Will the chocolates survive shipping?
Truffles soften in heat. In warm months, choose expedited shipping or a store pickup rather than standard ground.
When is the best time to buy?
Gift boxes like this usually dip around Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and the winter holidays. Check the price history before buying.
