Is the BISSELL CleanView Swivel Rewind Pet 3837 worth it?

For pet households with mostly carpet, yes. Suction, HEPA filtration and cord rewind cover the basics at a mid-range upright price. If you have lots of hard floor or stairs, a lighter or cordless model may suit you better.

How does it compare with the standard CleanView?

The 3837 adds a HEPA filter, swivel steering and automatic cord rewind over the base CleanView. Those are the main upgrades; cleaning performance is similar.

How often do I need to empty the dirt cup?

The cup holds 0.26 gallons, so plan on emptying it after most full-room cleans, and more often with heavy pet hair. It is bagless, so there is no bag to replace.

Does it work on hardwood and tile?

Yes. BISSELL lists carpet, rugs, hardwood, laminate, tile, wood and upholstery as suitable surfaces. On bare floors, lower the height setting to avoid scattering debris.

What comes in the box?

The vacuum itself with its HEPA filter and onboard cord rewind. No extra accessories or tools are included, so add a crevice or upholstery tool separately if you need one.

Corded uprights like this usually drop during back-to-school and Black Friday sales, and when a newer CleanView model launches. Watch the price history before buying.

Our take on the BISSELL CleanView Swivel Rewind Pet Corded Upright Vacuum 3837

The BISSELL CleanView Swivel Rewind Pet 3837 is a corded upright vacuum built for homes with pets. It pairs a HEPA filter with swivel steering and a 27-foot cord that rewinds automatically into the body. The 0.26-gallon dirt cup is small for a full-size upright, so expect frequent emptying on big jobs. It weighs 18.31 lb, which is heavy to carry up stairs.
