- Is $139.99 a good price for this vacuum?
- It is the best new price found across 4 stores as of November 6, 2026, at eBay. That is a reasonable level for a HEPA upright with a lift-off canister; watch for it to dip during holiday sales.
- Does it work on bare floors and rugs?
- Yes. Bissell lists carpet, area rugs, bare floors and stairs as surfaces, and variable suction control lets you dial down for rugs.
- How does the lift-off canister work?
- The canister detaches from the upright frame with a handle, so you can carry the motor and hose to stairs or upholstery without moving the whole vacuum.
- Is it good for allergy sufferers?
- It has a HEPA filter and Bissell's SmartSeal allergen system, which are designed to keep captured dust inside the machine. Empty the bin outdoors if you are sensitive.
- How heavy is it?
- The full unit weighs 15.7 lbs. The lift-off canister is lighter than the whole vacuum, but it is still a substantial carry.
- What comes in the box?
- Expect the vacuum body, lift-off canister, hose and a brush tool for stairs and upholstery. Check the listing for the exact attachments included.
