Is the Bissell PowerFresh Pet 19404 worth it?

For pet owners with tile, vinyl, or sealed hard floors, yes. It cleans with tap water, heats in about 30 seconds, and the scrubber handles dried messes. Skip it if you have unsealed hardwood or want cordless freedom.

How is it different from the standard PowerFresh?

The Pet version adds the flip-down Easy Scrubber and odor-eliminating scent discs. The core steam mop and 15 oz tank are shared with other PowerFresh models.

What floors can I use it on?

Sealed hard floors: tile, vinyl, linoleum, sealed stone, and sealed hardwood. Do not use it on unsealed wood, laminate, or floors with damaged finish, since steam can warp or dull them.

How long does the water tank last?

The 15 oz tank typically covers a few hundred square feet per fill, depending on steam setting and pace. Expect to refill once or twice in a large kitchen and hallway.

What comes in the box?

The mop, a washable microfiber mop pad, a scrubby pad for the Easy Scrubber, and a set of scent discs. Check the listing for exact included accessories.

Our take on the Bissell PowerFresh Pet Steam Mop 19404

The Bissell PowerFresh Pet Steam Mop 19404 is a chemical-free steam mop built for homes with pets. It heats up in about 30 seconds, uses a 15 oz tank of plain tap water, and adds a flip-down Easy Scrubber for stuck-on messes plus scent discs to cut odors. It is a corded 120V unit, so you trade cord freedom for constant steam power. It sits in Bissell's mid-range steam mop lineup, above basic PowerFresh models and below the larger, more feature-heavy ones.
