Is this shade blackout?

No. It is a light-filtering shade, so it dims daylight and adds privacy but does not darken a room fully. For a bedroom, pair it with curtains or choose a blackout shade.

Does it come motorized?

Motorized options are offered in this line. They cost more than the manual version and need power or batteries at the window.

What is included with the shade?

The shade comes with a cassette valance with fabric insert and a fabric-wrapped hem bar. Check the listing for mounting hardware and the control type you pick.

Is it good for a wide sliding door?

It can be, since widths reach 103 inches. One panel covers the opening; for very wide doors check the maximum width and whether you want one shade or two.

When is the price lowest?

Only one store lists it new, at $28.07 as of November 5, 2026, so there is no second store to compare. Watch for seasonal sales at Blindsgalore rather than cross-store discounts.
