- Is the Novilla Bliss mattress worth it?
- For a guest room or first bed on a budget, yes. At $299.99 for the 12 inch at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it costs far less than name-brand foam mattresses, but expect a basic all-foam feel without edge support.
- How firm is the 12 inch Bliss?
- It is a medium-firm memory foam feel with noticeable sink-in. Heavier sleepers may find it softer than expected, and stomach sleepers who want a very firm bed should look elsewhere.
- Does it work on an adjustable bed frame?
- Yes, a foam mattress this thick bends on an adjustable base. It also works on a slatted frame or box spring; a solid platform is fine but check slat spacing so the foam does not sag between them.
- How long does it take to expand after unboxing?
- Most of the expansion happens within 24 hours, with full loft in about 48 to 72 hours. Sleeping on it the first night is fine, but it will feel firmer and thinner until it finishes expanding.
- Should I get the 8, 10 or 12 inch version?
- The 12 inch gives more foam under you and a taller bed height. The 8 and 10 inch versions cost less and suit low frames or guest rooms, but they offer less cushioning over the base.
- When is the price lowest?
- Foam mattresses in this class usually drop during Black Friday, Memorial Day and Labor Day sales. The current $299.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026 is a budget-level price, so watch for holiday discounts rather than expecting deep cuts.
