Is the BlissHaven Extra-Large Dog Bed worth it?

For a large or senior dog under 85 lb, it covers the basics: orthopedic egg-crate foam, bolsters, a waterproof liner and a washable cover. At $55.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is a low-cost way to try an orthopedic sofa bed.

How big is it, and what size dog fits?

It measures 42 inches long, 30 inches wide and 7.5 inches thick, and is rated for dogs up to 85 lb. The open front suits dogs that step in rather than jump.

Can the cover be washed?

Yes. The faux fur cover zips off and is machine washable. The waterproof liner stays on the foam to block spills.

Does it work for puppies or dogs that chew?

It is rated for all life stages, but the faux fur and foam are not chew-resistant. A determined chewer can tear the cover and reach the foam.

Is it as supportive as a memory foam bed?

No. Egg-crate foam is softer and less dense than memory foam, so it suits comfort and mild joint relief rather than heavy support for very large or arthritic dogs.

Walmart lists it at $55.99 as of November 5, 2026, and it is the only new price listed. Watch for seasonal pet sales and check the price history before buying.

Our take on the BlissHaven Extra-Large Dog Bed

The BlissHaven Extra-Large Dog Bed is a 42 x 30 x 7.5 inch sofa-style bed for dogs up to 85 lb, built on egg-crate foam with three-sided bolsters and a faux fur cover. The foam targets joint and hip pressure for senior or heavy dogs, and the cover unzips and machine washes. A waterproof liner protects the foam, and a non-slip base keeps it on hard floors. At $55.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.
