Is the Speedhorse pair worth it over a basic sawhorse?

If you cut sheet goods or lumber regularly, the 1,500 lb rating, 45-inch top and 2x4 slot make it more useful than a plain folding sawhorse. For occasional light tasks, a cheaper pair may be enough.

Can I adjust the working height?

No. The Speedhorse is fixed at 30 inches, so it suits most circular saw and miter saw work but not users who need a taller or lower bench.

How much weight does one sawhorse hold?

Bora rates the pair at 1,500 lb, so plan on roughly 750 lb per horse when the load is spread evenly.

Does it work with a 2x4 for a makeshift bench?

Yes. The top has a slot that accepts a 2x4, letting you bridge the two horses into a temporary work surface.

The box contains two Speedhorse sawhorses. No 2x4s or other accessories are included.

Our take on the Bora Portamate Speedhorse Sawhorse Pair

The Bora Portamate Speedhorse is a folding metal sawhorse pair rated for 1,500 lb per pair, with a 45-inch top and a fixed 30-inch working height. Its selling point is the fast setup: the legs fold out and lock, and the top has a slot for holding 2x4s and a flip-up stop for cutting. At 17.9 lb for the pair, it is heavy enough to feel stable but still portable. No current price was provided, so check the latest best price against its recent range before buying.
