Our take on the BougeRV 5KW 5L All-in-One Portable Diesel Parking Heater

The BougeRV 5KW is an all-in-one diesel air heater with a 5L tank, 304 stainless steel shell and a freestanding design that needs no permanent install. It puts out 5kW, enough for roughly 307 sq ft, and draws 150W at startup and 5-6A at 12V while running. At $67.02 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it sits far below what all-in-one diesel heaters usually cost, so check that the listing includes the controller, fuel line and exhaust.

Questions and answers

Is the BougeRV 5KW heater safe to use indoors?
No. It burns diesel and must be installed outdoors or vented outside, so use it in a garage, tent or van with the exhaust routed out. It has overheat, voltage and short-circuit protection, but those do not make the exhaust safe to breathe.
How much space will 5kW heat?
BougeRV rates it for about 307 sq ft, with the space warmed in roughly 8 minutes. That suits a one- or two-car garage, a workshop or a large tent; a whole house is beyond it.
What do I need to run it?
A 12V DC power source that can supply 5-6A, such as a car battery or a suitably sized power supply, plus diesel. Startup draws about 150W, so a small wall adapter will not do.
How long does the 5L tank last?
Expect roughly 10 to 20 hours per tank depending on the heat setting, since diesel burn rises with output. Running at full 5kW drains it fastest.
Is $67.02 a good price?
That is very low for an all-in-one 5kW diesel heater; comparable units usually sell for well over $100. At $67.02 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, confirm the listing includes the controller, fuel line, exhaust and mounting parts before buying.
What comes in the box?
BougeRV ships the heater with its 5L tank and controller; check the specific listing for the exhaust pipe, fuel line, clamps and mounting hardware, since bundles vary by seller.
Where is the BougeRV 5KW 5L All-in-One Portable Diesel Parking Heater cheapest?
