Is the Max Total 16 worth $1,999?

At $1,999 at BowFlex as of November 8, 2026, you pay for a compact hybrid trainer with 20 resistance levels and app support. It makes sense if you want steep, low-impact intervals at home and have limited floor space.

How is it different from a regular elliptical?

The path is steeper and more up-and-down, closer to a stair stepper, rather than a long flat stride. That suits interval climbing but not runners who want an elliptical-style glide.

What are the size and weight limits?

It measures about 49.3 by 30.8 inches and stands 65.7 inches tall, and it holds riders up to 300 lbs. The machine itself weighs 155.4 lbs.

What does the warranty cover?

The frame and mechanical parts are covered for 3 years, but labor is covered for only 90 days. Keep that in mind for service costs after the first few months.

Does it work with fitness apps?

Yes, it supports app tracking and reports heart rate. Check which apps you use before buying, since support varies by app.
