Is the Brondell Cypress H630 worth it?

If you rent or want filtered water without plumbing work, yes. It is certified, needs no installation beyond the faucet adapter, and at $154.99 at Amazon as of November 6, 2026 it costs less than most under-sink systems.

How often do the filters need changing?

Brondell rates the carbon block (HF-33) and composite plus (HF-31) filters at about 6 months each, and the Nanotrap (HF-32) is also a replacement filter. The 5,000-gallon figure applies to chlorine reduction.

Does it remove fluoride or lead?

It is certified to NSF/ANSI 53, which covers health-related contaminants, but Brondell's listed claims focus on chlorine, microplastics, VOCs and taste and odor. Check the certification listing for the specific contaminant you care about.

Will it fit my faucet?

It comes with a universal faucet adapter that fits most standard faucets. An undercounter water connection is sold separately if you want a different setup.

How fast does it dispense water?

The rated service flow is 0.5 gallons per minute, so a quart takes about 30 seconds. It is fine for glasses and kettles but slow for filling large containers.
