Is the Dreamweave Throw warm enough for winter?

It is a lightweight, breathable cotton throw, so it suits fall and mild winter evenings indoors. For cold bedrooms, layer it over a heavier blanket or duvet.

How does it compare with Brooklinen's other throws?

The Dreamweave is the lighter waffle-cotton option. Brooklinen's heavier throws use denser weaves or added texture, so pick this one for breathability and the heavier ones for warmth.

What size is it, and will it fit a bed?

It measures 50 by 70 inches, which covers a lap and shoulders on a sofa. It is too small to serve as a bedspread on a queen or king.

Can I machine wash and dry it?

Yes. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low; high heat can shrink cotton and roughen the waffle texture.

Does the cotton snag easily?

The waffle loops can catch on rings, pet claws and zippers. Trim any pull with scissors rather than tugging it.

When is the best time to buy it?

Brooklinen discounts throws most around major holiday sales and end-of-season events. Check the price history before buying at full price.

Our take on the Brooklinen Dreamweave Throw Blanket

The Brooklinen Dreamweave Throw is a 50 x 70 inch waffle-weave throw made of 100% Turkish cotton. It is lightweight and breathable, sized for a couch or chair rather than a bed. The waffle texture adds airflow and a bit of loft without weight. It sits in Brooklinen's mid-tier price band for cotton throws, and the latest best price is the one to compare against its usual range before buying.
