- Is the Plank Luxe good for side sleepers?
- Mostly no. Both sides are firm to ultra firm, so side sleepers often feel pressure at the shoulders and hips. It suits back and stomach sleepers better.
- What is the difference between the two sides?
- One side is firm and the other is ultra firm. You choose by flipping the mattress, so it works for couples who want different firmness.
- Do I need the GlacioTex cooling cover?
- It is optional. The mattress sleeps reasonably cool on its own, but hot sleepers who want the cooling feature should add it.
- What base does it need?
- It works on a sturdy bed frame or foundation rated for a heavy hybrid mattress. A slatted base or box foundation both work.
- Can it go in an RV?
- Yes. Brooklyn Bedding lists RV use as a fit, and the twin size is 38 by 84 inches, which suits many RV bunks.
- When is it cheapest?
- Prices vary by store and sale period. The best new price was $1,119.30 at Wayfair as of November 8, 2026, so compare the 5 stores listing it before buying.
