Our take on the BrylaneHome Down-Alternative Blanket

The BrylaneHome Down-Alternative Blanket is a 96-by-96-inch full/queen polyester blanket with a plush finish and satin border. It has no fill, so it is a single-layer cover rather than a puffy comforter-style blanket. The best new price is $32.00 at Poshmark as of November 7, 2026, against five stores selling it new.

Questions and answers

Is this blanket warm enough for winter?
Not on its own. It has no fill and is a single polyester layer, so it works best as a coverlet or layered over another blanket in cold months.
What size bed does 96 by 96 inches fit?
It is sized for full/queen beds. The square cut gives a long drop on the sides and foot, so it also covers a full bed generously.
Can it go in the dryer?
It is machine washable. Polyester dries quickly, so tumble on low or air-dry to protect the satin border.
Is it good for people with down allergies?
Yes. It contains no down or fill, just polyester, so it avoids the usual down-allergen concern.
Is $32 a good price?
That is the lowest new price among the five stores listing it as of November 7, 2026. It is a low-cost blanket, so the price is reasonable for a basic polyester cover.
Where is the BrylaneHome Down-Alternative Blanket cheapest?
At Poshmark, for $32.00, 18% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
