Is $39.97 a good price for this planter?

It is the lowest new price among the four stores that list it, at Lowe's as of November 5, 2026. Check the other three stores before buying in case one drops below it.

Does it come with hooks?

Yes, two hooks are included for hanging. They suit rails or ledges thin enough for the hook opening, so measure yours first.

Will it hold a full box of soil and flowers?

It is rated for up to 30 lbs. Wet soil is heavy, so keep the load within that limit and check the hook and rail can take the weight.

No liner is included, and soil sits against the metal. A coco or fabric liner keeps soil in and slows heat transfer to the roots.

Can it be used indoors?

It is built for outdoor use, and the drainage holes will leak water. Use a saucer or liner if you hang it inside.

What are the dimensions?

It measures 20½ inches long, 7 inches wide and 7½ inches tall.
