Our take on the Bshti 3 in 1 Convertible Pull-Out Loveseat Sofa Bed with Adjustable Backrest

The Bshti 3-in-1 convertible loveseat is a velvet-upholstered sleeper that pulls out to a twin bed and has an adjustable backrest, so it works as a sofa, a lounger and a bed. It seats two at 53 inches wide, holds up to 500 lb, and includes hidden storage under the seat. The gray velvet, tufted back and track arms give it a softer look than most pull-out couches. No current price was available to compare against its recent range.

Best forSmall apartments and studios that need seating and a guest bed in one piece
Guest rooms and home offices used as occasional bedrooms
Renters who want storage built into the furniture
Buyers who want a twin sleeper under 55 inches wide
Pros
  • Three positions: sofa, reclined backrest and flat twin bed
  • Built-in storage under the seat
  • 500 lb weight capacity is high for a loveseat this size
  • Velvet fabric and tufted back look more finished than typical sleeper sofas
  • 53-inch width fits tight rooms and small walls
Cons
  • Twin sleeper means one adult or two small children, not two adults
  • 16-inch seat height and 16.2-inch back height are low; tall users may find it cramped
  • Velvet shows lint, pet hair and marks more than woven fabric
  • Pull-out frames and thin sleeper mattresses usually need a topper for overnight guests
  • No price history was available, so value is hard to judge

Questions and answers

Is it big enough for two adults to sleep on?
No. It pulls out to a twin-size bed, which suits one adult or two children. Two adults can sit on it at 53 inches wide, but not sleep on it comfortably.
How firm is the mattress?
Convertible loveseats like this use a thin foam or innerspring mattress over the pull-out frame, so expect a firm, thin feel. Most owners add a mattress topper for regular overnight use.
Does the backrest adjust and how far does it recline?
Yes, the backrest adjusts through several positions from upright to a flat lounger. It is a ratchet-style mechanism, so you lift and push back to change angles.
What can I store under the seat?
The storage compartment fits bedding, pillows or small items. It is under the seat cushion, so you lift the seat to reach it.
Will it fit through a standard doorway?
At 53 inches long it ships in pieces and assembles on site, so check the box dimensions before ordering. Assembled, it needs about 53 inches of wall space plus room in front for the pull-out.
When is the best time to buy it?
Sofa prices usually drop around major sale events and at the end of the year. No price history was available for this model, so compare current listings before buying.
