Is this tree suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, the listing rates it for outdoor use. Even so, plastic foliage fades and gets brittle with long sun exposure, so a covered porch or patio will hold up better than full sun and rain.

How big is it, exactly?

It stands 84 inches (7 ft) tall and is 27.5 inches wide. Measure your ceiling height and floor space first, since the wide spread needs room to look right.

Does it come in a pot?

Yes, it is potted. Check the pot's dimensions and finish if the container will be visible, and plan a decorative planter if you want a different look.

Will it look real up close?

At a distance it reads as an olive tree, but plastic leaves can look glossy and uniform at close range. Fluff and shape the branches after unboxing to soften the look.

Dust with a microfiber cloth or a quick pass with a vacuum brush attachment. Skip water and cleaners on the leaves, and keep it out of direct sun to slow fading.

When is the best time to buy?

Faux trees often get discounted around the winter holidays and in post-season clearance. Compare the current quote with its recent price history before buying.

Our take on the Bungalow Rose 7 ft Artificial Olive Tree

This is a 7-foot artificial olive tree from Bungalow Rose, 84 inches tall and 27.5 inches wide, potted and rated for outdoor use. It is made of plastic, so it is a decorative piece rather than a living plant: no watering, no leaf drop, and no light requirements. The wide 27.5-inch spread gives it a full silhouette for a corner, entryway or patio. No current price was provided, so check the latest quote against its recent range before buying.
